About the sentence

for the time being

This fixed expression can be used as an alternative to temporarily or at the moment.  e.g. I usually work in Manchester but for the time beingtemporarily/at the moment I'm based in Liverpool.

"I'm having my house redecorated": We use the structure "to have something done" to describe something that we pay someone to do for us. I had my hair cut, I'm having my bedroom painted, I need to have my car fixed. This structure is called the causative.
